To manage fluctuations in the price of gold, our partner Aucoffre has committed to providing: €300,000 worth of gold.
The exact number of coins will therefore vary depending on the price of gold when the chest is found.

The treasure also includes a crystal skull containing an opal.
Its value is estimated according to:

• the material
• the craftsmanship
• the artistic value

Overall estimate: Including the intermediate rewards (boats awarded to the first discoverers), the total prize value is estimated at: €430,000, or approximately $500,000 at the time of the announcement.
